When Leliana's mother died, shortly after her fourth birthday, she was raised by Cecilie (though she did not likely legally adopt her), and in her care Leliana learned much about the royal court and Orlesian culture. įollowing the Fereldan victory in the Rebellion, Oisine followed Lady Cecilie back to Orlais.

Though Leliana is uncertain if this powerful memory is real or not, she cherishes the image of her Fereldan mother. One of Leliana's earliest memories is the scent of her mother's linen dress as they held hands on the terrace of an Orlesian villa with a view of the Waking Sea and gardens of sweet orange and lavender. Leliana's mother, Oisine, was a servant of Lady Cecilie Vasseur, an Orlesian noble. Nightmare? A breeze, particularly if Morrigan and Sten are in the party too).Ġ.02$ from someone who's done around 6-7 full playthroughs of this game, and god knows how many partial ones.Leliana was born in Orlais, and though she is culturally Orlesian, her mother was Fereldan and so she considers herself as such. He also happens to be completely OP in battle if you spec him right, especially when paired with a rogue Warden (which my canon Warden is. Oh, and if you're baffled by my mentioning of Zevran: give him a chance, and get his approval up a bit. Just an FYI in case you decide to replay as male (or install a same-sex romance mod for her).

I'd recommend Morrigan's romance too, especially if you're a Mage. The only reason to consider Alistair is if you're a Female Noble. You'd get slightly more content out of a Morrigan romance since there's a DLC focused on her (on Leliana as well, but that takes place before she's met the Warden). They're more or less equal in how complex and interesting they are. If I'd have to rank the romances by how interesting and complex they are, it'd be:ġ0: Morrigan and Zevran. It's incredibly predictable, as in Disney-levels of predictability.
